Ambassador Mkrtchyan’s meeting with Priit Turk

On May 20 Ambassador of Armenia to Estonia, Tigran Mkrtchyan (residence in Vilnius) met with former Ambassador of Estonia to Armenia Priit Turk, who is the Director of Political Department for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia.

During the meeting, Ambassador Mkrtchyan presented the preparatory works of the forthcoming World IT Congress to be held in Armenia in October 2019 and expressed hope that leading Estonia’s companies will have an active participation in this event.

In this context, the sides discussed the opportunity to hold a parallel Armenian-Estonian digital event and the possibilities of intergorvernmental cooperation in IT field.

During the meeting the sides also touched upon the political consultations held between the Foreign Ministries of Armenia and Estonia as well as the organization of high-level mutual visits and a number of issues related to the EU-Armenia agenda.
