Ambassador Mkrtchyan visited the National Library of Lithuania

On July 29, Tigran Mkrtchyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Lithuania visited the National Library of Lithuania after Martynas Mažvydas, where he met with Renaldas Gudauskas, the director of the library.

Welcoming Ambassador Mkrtchyan, Renaldas Gudauskas highly appreciated the long-standing effective cooperation established between the Embassy and the National Library of Lithuania and expressed confidence that it would further deepen and include new areas of cooperation. Prof․ Gudauskas also noted that he had returned with warmest impressions from Yerevan, where he recently attended an international seminar titled "The Faces of Memory."

During the meeting, Tigran Mkrtchyan touched upon the upcoming events of the Embassy, discussed the possibilities of future joint initiatives and the prospects for development and deepening of relations with the National Library of Armenia.

In line with the well-established tradition, Ambassador Mkrtchyan donated to the National Library of Lithuania another batch of literature devoted to the Armenian history and culture.
