Presentation of the Travel Guide "Armenia: A Country With Character" in Vilnius

On April 2, 2025, the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Lithuania, in collaboration with Armenia's Honorary Consul in Lithuania, Karapet Babayan, presented the travel guide "Armenia: A Country With Character" in Vilnius.

The guide was published in December 2024 with the sponsorship of Karapet Babayan.

Objectives of the Travel Guide

To promote the development of Armenia’s tourism sector

To raise awareness about Armenia

To showcase Armenia’s rich cultural heritage

The event began with a welcoming speech by H.E. Ara Margarian, Ambassador of Armenia to Lithuania, followed by remarks from Ona Nosevičienė, the editor of the guide.

The presentation was attended by:

Ambassadors accredited in Lithuania

Representatives of the diplomatic corps Officials from the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other state institutions

Tourism industry professionals

Journalists from Lithuania’s leading news agency, Lrytas

Members of the Armenian community and other distinguished guests

The event was hosted at the renowned HeJi entertainment center in Vilnius, with the generous support of the Grants family.
