Armenia’s Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, Visits Latvia

On September 6-7, Armenia’s Minister of Economy, Gevorg Papoyan, paid an official visit to Latvia.

As part of his visit, Minister Papoyan met with Latvia’s Minister of Economy, Viktors Valainis, on September 6. Armenia’s Ambassador to Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, Ara Margarian, Deputy Minister Narek Hovakimyan, and Armenia’s Honorary Consul in Latvia, Mkhitar Mkhitaryan also were present at the meeting

During the meeting, the parties discussed several areas of mutual interest and cooperation prospects, particularly in the sectors of industry, agriculture, tourism, and others. Both sides emphasized the importance of the friendly relations between the two countries, which contribute to the ongoing development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation.
