Meeting of Ambassador Tigran Mkrtchyan with Ambassador Gert Antsu, the new Director of the Estonian Eastern Partnership Center

On September 7, Tigran Mkrtchyan, Ambassador of Armenia to Estonia (with residence in Vilnius )within the framework of his working visit to Tallinn, met with Ambassador Gert Antsu, the new Director of the Estonian Eastern Partnership Center, Chief EaP Representative.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the proactivity of the centre during the Estonian Presidency in the EU in 2017, as well as the upcoming programs.

Ambassador Mkrtchyan and his interlocutor touched upon the most priority areas of cooperation, emphasizing the good experience of the already existing partnership, particularly in the judicial sphere. They also spoke about the importance of deepening the cooperation in the field of education.

Among these issues, the importance and prospects of expanding Armenia-Estonia cooperation within the EU were also discussed․
