Meeting of Ambassador Mkrtchyan with the members of the Friendship Group with Armenia from the ISAMAA-Erakond faction in the Estonian Parliament

On September 8, within the framework of his working visit to Estonia, Tigran Mkrtchyan, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Estonia (with residence in Vilnius) met with the members of the Friendship Group with Armenia from the ISAMAA Erakond faction (consisting of Pro Patria and Res Publica Union) in the Estonian Parliament- Riigikogu, including the friendship group chairman leader Raivo Tamm.

At the beginning of the meeting, Ambassador Tigran Mkrtchyan thanked for the support provided by the Estonian Government to Armenia within the framework of the fight against the Coronavirus epidemic.

During the meeting, Ambassador Mkrtchyan briefed his interlocutors the recent developments in the region, in particular, spoke on the continuity of Azerbaijan's anti-Armenian rhetoric after the events in Tavush in July.

The sides spoke also about the activities of the RA Embassy in Estonia, especially about the events organized last year and in the first half of this year, as well as the projects planned in the near future. Views on the prospects of development of Armenia-EU and Armenia-Estonia relations were exchanged, as well.
