Ambassador Mkrtchyan’s meeting with the Lithuanian Police Commissioner General

On July 30, Tigran Mkrthcyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Lithuania met with Linas Pernavas, Lithuanian Police Commissioner General.

During the meeting, Ambassador Mkrtchyan presented the process of reforms in the Armenian police system, adding that Lithuania's experience in this area can be of great benefit to Armenia.

In his turn, Linas Pernavas mentioned that there is a close interaction between the Lithuanian and Armenian police within the framework of Interpol and expressed his readiness to establish a higher level cooperation between the two agencies.

The sides also touched upon the exchange of information in the fight against crime, the organization of high-level bilateral visits, as well as a number of other issues of mutual interest.
