Embassy of Armenia in Lithuania hosted the renowned Armenian writer Narine Abgaryan

On February 28, the Embassy of Armenia in Lithuania hosted the renowned Armenian writer Narine Abgaryan, who was a special guest at the Vilnius Book Fair, held from February 27 to March 2.

Ambassador Ara Margarian warmly welcomed Ms. Abgaryan and expressed admiration for her works, which, although written in Russian, are deeply rooted in Armenian identity and culture. He emphasized that literature serves as an important bridge in strengthening cultural ties between nations.

On March 1, Narine Abgaryan presented two books translated into Lithuanian, "Simon" and "People Who Are Always With Me," to her Lithuanian readers.

During the meeting, the author shared fascinating stories about her creative journey, highlighting the significant role of literature in fostering cultural and friendly relations between nations.

Among the guests at the Embassy were the Honorary Consul of Armenia in Lithuania, members of the Armenian community, and Lithuanians who appreciate Narine Abgaryan’s literary work.
