On May 6, an Armenian wine tasting event was held in Riga, organized through the joint efforts of the Embassy of Armenia in Lithuania, the Honorary Consul of Armenia in Latvia Mr. Mkhitar Mkhitaryan, and “Gadara,” a leading importer of Armenian wines in the Baltic region.

The evening brought together representatives of the Armenian and local restaurant industry in Latvia, sommeliers, wine experts, esteemed guests, and business professionals.

The event aimed to:

Enhance the visibility of Armenian wines in the Latvian market

Showcase their quality and diversity

Encourage their inclusion in the menus of major local restaurants

The initiative, dedicated to promoting Armenian wines, was met with enthusiastic feedback from attendees — a testament to the growing interest in Armenia’s winemaking heritage.
