Armenian Ambassador Meets with Lithuanian Minister of Culture

On January 20, 2026, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania, Ms. Vaida Aleknavičienė, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Ara Margarian.

The interlocutors discussed opportunities for the development and expansion of cultural cooperation, emphasizing its bridging role in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, the parties also touched upon the cultural events planned within the framework of the 35th anniversary of Lithuania’s recognition of the independence of the Republic of Armenia, as well as the prospects for their implementation.
