Ambassador Tigran Mkrtchyan’s farewell meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis

On April 8, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis received the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Mkrtchyan on the occasion of relinquishing his duties as Ambassador of Armenia to Lithuania.

Minister Landsbergis highly commended Ambassador Mkrtchyan's contribution to the deepening and strengthening of the friendly relations established between Lithuania and Armenia and wished the Ambassador success in his future diplomatic activity.

Ambassador Mkrtchyan thanked for the warm words as well as for the support provided by the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs during his tenure and expressed confidence that the Armenian-Lithuanian friendship will continue to grow in the future as well.

During the meeting, the parties also touched upon the Armenia-EU relations, the measures against the Coronavirus in both countries, the internal political and regional developments in Armenia as well as the organization of forthcoming high-level visits.

Minister Landsbergis stressed the readiness of the Lithuanian Government to continue supporting the process of democratic reforms in Armenia and to share their best experience with Armenia.
